This message is being sent to: Headquarters Employees Only.
On Friday, September 17,2004, at 3:11 p.rn., an e-mail was erroneously sent to all FBIHQ employees regarding
captioned matter. All employees are requested to disregard the instructions outlined in that e-mail and the
Electronic Communication that was attached.
The Records Management Division and the Office of Gener;:!1 Counsel, are working together to ensure that each
Division/Office at FBIHQ conducts the appropriate search for records, as ordered by the United States Court,
Southern District of New York. RMD has provided guidance to all Division/Office Front Offices on Friday,
September 17, 2004, and again today, via e-mail regarding this matter.
Any.employee that may have questions or documents regarding this matter is requested to work with their
Division/Office's Front Office and designated Point of Contact. RMD is working, as appropriate, with each
Division/Office's Point of Contact regarding the review and production of documents for this order.
Again, RMD is sorry for the confusion that the initial Friday e-mail may have caused.
