This document is a statement from an unknown military suspect concerning his/her knowledge of allegations of mistreatment of Manadel Al-Jamadi, who was held at Abu-Ghraib while in the custody of Foxtrot Platoon, SEAL Team #7. This military suspect describes how he was tasked with capturing and killing Al-Jamadi during an operation near Baghdad. After his capture, Al-Jamadi was detained, interrogated, and beaten, after which he died of an alleged heart attack. Regarding the incident, the author of this statement says that "there was a momentary lapse of judgement" when striking Al-Jamadi, but that he/she did not "observe any treatment that would have resulted in his death."
