Afghanistan. Because he is wOWlded and bas hec:n through emotional tunnoil, his parents are most anxious to meet with him. As his lawyer, I am most anxious to meet with him and request that you have an appropriate government official contact me as soon as possible to make suitable arrangements.
Because he is wounded and, based upon press reports, went for three days without food, I would ask that any further interrogation be stopped. Especially if there is any intent to use it in any subsequent legal proceedings.
John Walker Lindh is a citizen of the United States, having been born and raised in this country, I would look forward to speaking with you about his background, which includes a conversion to Islam at the age of sixteen. At the present time, lohn Walker Lindh is oruy twenty years old.
