BREL TO USA, AUS, CAN AND GBR) Exploitation of U.S. Soldier Gravesite: A
. shallow grave was discovered near, the. "Dra Didgle" (arm of Tigris) canal north of the
village of Karmah in Fallujah. The body is believed to be a,U.S. soldier who was
allegedly buried in the bottom of a large (1.5m x 2.5m) hole. According to the U.S.
Military, the hole shows obvioUs signs of having been dug by, a back-hoe. Allegedly,
portions of the corpse's right arm and lower left leg were exposed and were clothed in an'.
American military uniform. Additionally, the foot of the left leg had an American desertstyle
military boot. On 22 December 2004, three FBI-ERT Agents departed enlouteth •
the site to recover the victim's body and conduct forensic analysis. Results will.be .
forwarded to FBIHQ as soon as they are made available.

/REL TO USA and MCFI) IED Attacks: According to Significant Activity
Reporting (SIGACTS) during this reporting period, two Coalition Forces (CF) soldiers
were Killed In Action (KIA) as a result of IED incidents, compared to three soldiers KIA
M the last reporting period; During the same period 61 CF soldiers; as opposed to 60
soldiers in the last reporting period have been WIA as a result of IEDs. There have been
193 reported IED incidents during this reporting period, compared to 229 IED related
incidents in the last reporting period.
