I was advised this morning that the OIG - Office of Oversight and Review - is
,initiating.a full investigation of.the FBI's handling of- allegations of
detainee abuse including inquiries about FBI emplayees participating in or
witnessing abuse of detainees at GTMO, Abu Ghraib prison or any other venues.
The inquiry will include an examination of employees who may have witnessed or
participated in the abuse of detainees as well as any allegations of abuse on
the part of FBI personnel. They advised he investigation will include the ' -alle ns made by detainee' !against FBI personnel. I
