lign believes that jihad is the sixth liter of Islam. No one taught this to .He developed this belief from his personal reading of the Koran. .became more serious about his religious faith in 2001 and began reading the Koran more. 160 views jihad as a struggle. This can either be a personal struggle against temptation or a violent struggle against those who oppress Muslims..did see and experience violence from various racist groups as a group which promotes racial superiority and segregation. said a mujahadeen was an individual struggling in a holy war.

government While in ghanistan, NM saw the Taliban as a good government administratin the country according to Muslim law. GM saw woman wearing burkhas which is according to the Koran..saw women unescorted by a male family member in public. MIDsaw ids in school type uniforms carrying books.111011IMMIN told him these girls were going to school..also'saw Sikhs. When he talked to them, they told him they were treated better in Afghanistan than they were in India.MIND assumed they were protected by the Taliban because they were paying Jizya. Jizya is a lax mandated by the Koran that all non-Muslims who live in a Muslim controlled country must pay. Paying this tax allows the non-Muslim to practice his/her religion unmolested by the government.
