The interviewed detainee discusses traveling/moving to different areas refers in Afghanistan. States that he lied during previous interviews, due to inadequate medical attention and fear. Complains/alleges that he did not receive adequate medical attention for severe injuries to his legs. Stated that he was not Al Qaeda and when he was arrested he was not carrying a weapon.

complained about treatment he has received for his leg injur does not feel the Americans are giving him proper treatment for his injuries. denied going to fight jihad and denied being a member of AL QAEDA. He went on to say that if he admitted these things, he would be believed. Since he says he is b6 -3,4 not AL QAEDA, no one will believe him. 1 b7C -3,4

remember his lies. was asked why he lied. He stated that

he lied while in Bagram. He indicated he was in a lot of pain and

both his legs were severely injured. He was not treated well by

the guards and he was afraid if he told the truth, he would be
treated worse. He wanted to receive medical treatment and he was

afraid if he told the truth, the Americans would amputate his

leg(s).

He went on to say that when he was captured he was not
armed; therefore, he cannot understand why he is in Cuba. He
