Interviewee recalled hearing about three soldiers receiving Article 15s for an unauthorized interrogation of a females detainee.

I was assigned to Abu Ghraib (AG) from 1 Oct 03 until 6 Feb 04. I was attached to the 323d MI Bn and had duties as the
Headquarters Support Company Commander. My rater was and my rater was COI. Pappas. My duties consisted
. exclusively of the "care and feeding" for the Soldiers - administration, logistics, and life support for the MI Soldiers assigned at
AG. 1 bad no involvement with the open ' side of the house. I visited the hard site and the wood site on only a couple of
occasions; I had no official duties th
I I did hear about three soldiers receiving e 15s for an unauthorized interrogation of a female detainee - this incident happened
before my arrival and I did not have direct knowledge of it. Near the end of or the first part of January 04, I am
not positive of the date but know that it coincided with the CID investigation,
to me that he bad seen sceneunauthorized photos of detainees and was uncertain about reporting it, as be not to get anyone in trouble. hold him thathe had to report it to CID, which he did. Other than the maters above. I did not observe, bear of, or have reported to me any
instance of humiliation, abuse or maltreatment of detainees. I did not see or bear of any unauthorized photographs or videos.
