I arrived at Abu Ghraib on 12 tJCtober 2003 to work as a screener initially. I was thenjelected to be a reports officer. When I first arrived to Abu Ghraib, I had On the Job Training on report writing. in charge of the Interrogation Control Element (ICE). She briefed the Interrogatio tiles of Engagement (IRO and I signed two different 1ROEs. I don't recall receiving any Geneva Convention • ' •lained the Geneva Convention in a broad sense. was told what I can and can not do. as in charge and general responsibilities in the logistical rt of the area and treatment of prisoners. I ch• not witness or know about any detainee abuse, any photos taken or the use of gs. I was never aware of any MI personnel telling MPs to "soften up" a detainee or give them the treatment." I did bear about the abuse after the investigation began.
