short period as an , her secondary MOS. She arrived in Abu Ghraib with the main
body of the 72" MP Company circa 21-25 May 2003. Within weeks of her arrival she
had a "nervous breakdown" as a result of shootings she witnessed during a detainee
escape and riots. She was referred to the 581' Combat Stress Team, underwent
counseling and was reattached to the 400 th MP BN at Baghdad Interna 'onal Airport
(BIAP . She redeployed with the 7 nd CO circa November 2003

interviewed and confirmed she maintained a diary but neither observed nor documented
any detainee abuse. Subsequent to the Press interview the Nevada National Guard also
