am attaching for your information talking points, for use by the U.S. expert on the Committee Against Torture, on what the United States is doing to respond to prisoner abuses in Iraq. The paper was widely cleared within the building and with DOD, DOJ and NSC staff. Kate Gorove stayed late night securing the final clearances.
