Subject: FW: L-Press Guidance -APPLICATION OF GENEVA CONVENTIONS
Categories: UNCLASSIFIED

NEA clears - a couple of typos are tracked. Also, re: consistency — sometimes you have Al Qaida, sometimes you have Al
Qai'da;
all abbreviations should be spelled out (Boucher's rules) - even Gtmo.

Gregg Sullivan may contact you with additional changes.

Jim/Him: I understand that the question we prepared for Grossman today did not need to be used during his al Jazeera interview. NEA/P has asked us to prepare press guidance with the same response which they think will be useful for posts in the field. I have done so on the assumption it does not need to be re-cleared for these purposes.
