Emails discussed possible abuse in Abu Grarib prison. M.C. Briese stated he did not witness any mistreatment, however, stated Abu Graib was understaffed. Also, referred Caproni to CJIS and HRT management, explaining those offices spent a great deal of time at Abu Graib.

The Direotof wanted to know (by the end of the day) if anyone from the FBI had id hand knowledge of any abuses at Abu G prison Ifso, how did we handle it I know that we have been made aware of allegabons in the past, but I do not know of any instance where we had to make a referral Please advise as soon as posaibte since I have to provide a statement to the press Office today
