As most of you probably expected, heanngi are going to be starting up on the Hill regarding tile Iraqi prisoner situation AD Bald has been called to testify before closed session of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence during the first Week ofJune The Committee is investigating "the policies regarding interrogations as part f the Global War on Terrorism, their legal basis, and what collection requirements have been levied on the interrogators "
The Committee has asked AD Bald to provideboth written and oral testimony regarding "what
information has been collected to date from the detaineelinterrogations, its relevance, timeliness, and accuracy, and what intelligence is currently being,soughtlfrom detainees in the Global War on Terrorism " The Committee also wants AD Bald to "provide an estimate of what the loss to the
Intelligehce Community Would be if the interrogation process were to end completely
AD Bald has asked that ITOS I, ITOS II, MLDU, GTMO, and the Fly Team provide input into his testimony this is a dosed hearing so you will not have any restnctions on your (classified) responses I will need these no later than COB 06/01/04 for'AD Bald's review
