Press but did not recall the specific Gonzales memo on which he was reported to have "hit the roof." Newsweek
reports that they have obtained a series of OLC memos from the fall of 2001 forward, quotes a State Department
lawyer as saying "we were horrified" and quotes from a Taft-Yoo rebuttal memo in January 2002.
