Does MG Ryder want heavy Crew Served Weapons or is he referring to the M249s? The Saw is one of the crew served weapons that is compatible with the M16s - if we choose to go with heavier weapons then comes the question of repair, armor skills, ammo, storage, etc. First get clarity on the M249 vs other Crew Serve Weapons before we start changing other areas. ,
Do we have the M249s and other weapons resourced as required in the TOE? Ensure we get the question clarified as you have asked in the last sentence of your email then we can proceed.
