Emails include a tasking summary and a CID detainee abuse summary/chart. The summary provides that the CID is investigating: 80 violations (in facilities), 38 detainee deaths, 38 assaults, 3 sexual assaults, and a theft; 43 violations (outside of facilities), 4 deaths, 19 assaults, 1 sexual assault and 19 thefts. The chart indicates that the total number of investigations, including the CID's investigations, is 81 (in facilities) and 70 (outside of facilities).

detainee death, provided Information Paper to JCS (COL ); providing copy of
Info Paper at Tab C for FYI.

• No new information developed regarding threat to SPC4 at FMMD. Security
posture remains the same.

(mechanics) by 11 Jul 04. Prospective school sites are NG RTS, Salina, KS or Ft Stewart, GA. CID is currently conducting threat assessments of both purposed locations.

2. Current Operations - Seven Day Focus (Close Battle)

Investigations continue


Using special agents throughout command, CID Headquarters established a
Special Assessment Team at Ft. Belvoir to conduct sufficiency reviews of all
detainee death cases and CID investigations relating to detainee abuse.


Cross-walking MG Taguba 15-6 with current open investigations/allegations.
