(1,)(-6 )-z Yesterday, I talked to advisor to CID on the Bagram death investigations
-about the email strand below.
I would like to talk to you on Friday (got your voice mail about meetings today) regarding the applicablility of AR 190-8 to operations in Afghanistan from May - Dec 02.
It seems the theater personnel were told that AR 190-8 did not apply to captured AI Quaeda or Taliban personnel. I want to get your insights on this.

Sir:
tla)(0 -Z-.09)(6)-2.
Respectfully request your assistance with my request (below COLIIIIIIIemail). COMM, suggested sending the request to you for assistance.
In the Bagram investigation, we have definitely come to a point where we absolutely must ensure our regulatory interpretations are 100% accurate. We have some extremely important interviews and titling decisions upcoming that depend on them. It would be preferable if we could have the information within a week.
If you need me to do anything else to facilitate this request, please just let me know Sir.
.
Very Respectfully, 016172

Sir:
I would like an authoritative interpretation of the applicability of AR 190-8, paragraphs 1 -5b and c to all detainees in Afghanistan during the time period of May 02 thru Dec 02 from DAMO-ODL (the proponent) in coordination with OTJAG. Further, I would like a definition of "corporal punishment" and "sensory deprivation" as those terms are used in paragraph 1-5b. (NOTE: If OTJAG has a copy of my proposed judge's instruction, it will provide them with my proposals for definitions and for applicability.)
Very Respectfully, MAJIIIII (0(9- Z
