Chief,
I need your assistance in looking into an allegation of Detainee Abuse.
Detainee Number arrived to our detention facility with an injured eye. The detainee alleges that he was butt stroked in the face by a Soldier after being captured. Detainee states he was blindfolded and flexcuffed at the time he was struck. Additionally, SSG interviewed two other detainees who complained of maltreatment but determined their allegations to be un ounded based on conflicting stories and lack of physical evidence.
Can you have one of your investigators contact SSG at Military Police Investigator with the 330th MP Detachment (L&O), to get additional information on the allegation and then make contact with the Mosul Detention Facility in order to interview the detainee?
Thanks,
61/111/11M
