An email including a forwarded chain of emails regarding FBI agents who have been listed as witnesses in an investigation surrounding allegations of prisoner abuse. The chain shows confusion as to whether or not the agents participated in misconduct.

Just to confirm our conversation and establish for the record: the FBI Agents involved have not been
named as subjects in this investigation, nor has there been any allegations against them directly. They are
merely listed as witnesses, as they had some sort of contact with the prisoner making the allegations of
abuse, at some point during his custody.
As such, we indicated to Army previously that they would be available for interviews, if deemed appropriate
by Army CIO. and there should be no problem with turning over whatever documentation exists to includetheir
302s.
Thanks,

Steve, ) 11... Per you in~tructions this morning'L-..Jvvill coordinate the requested interviews of FBI
personnel.
We will not open an Internal Investigation matter case on them unless we receive some
evidence that they were involved in misconduct. We will stay on top of this, and if they
situation changes, you will be advised immediately.
We have contacted at least one person in WFO who is more than willing to be interviewed
and has already forwarded us some documents concerning interviews conducted in Iraq.
