An email regarding a forwarded letter. The letter states that the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is conducting an investigation into allegations that two FBI agents were involved in the assault of a civilian detained at the Baghdad International Airport. The victim reports he was tortured for 24 hours, dragged, punched, and that he fell on barbed wire while he was in the FBI's custody. The two agents are being named as possible subjects in the investigation and will be interviewed by the Army.

The Inspection Division, Internal Investigations Section received a complaint today from
the U.S. .A.rm.y, Criminal Investigation Command (CIC), advising that they are conducting an
investigation into allegations that two FBI Agents were involved in an assault of a civilian
detained at the Baghdad International Airport (BIAP) sometime between March 4th-and 11th,
2004.
The alleged victim] lis currently being held at the Baghdad Central
Confinement Facility, Abu Ghraib, Iraq. The Army's investigation was initiated based upon
allegations made bf Ithat he had been abused while detained at BIAP. According to I Ihe was captured and detained at a detention facility at BIAP where he was
interrogated by FBI SAs. ~ported he was tortured for approximately 24 hours and
fell on barbed wire, Further reported the individuals dragged him by his feet and
punched him in the abdomen."
While the above information has yet to be corroborated, the Anny reported that
"documents extracted from] ~etainee file reveale~ ~as in the FBI's
custody," but the complaint does not specify for what purpose and for how long he remained in
their custody/control. Likewise, the CIC has not positively identified subjects ofthis....- _
