(U)
Task #4a What is the role of female MPs in guarding prisoners in the US Army Disciplinary Facilities.

(U)
Answer #4a. : Female correctional specialists make up approximately 35% of the Army 31E Corrections Specialists MOS. They perform duties throughout Army correction facilities, to include searches of male inmates and security positions in male inmate housing areas. In the performance of their duties, policies and procedures insure that the inmate's dignity is protected. This is also common practice at State and Federal Bureau of Prisons facilities.
