Subject: Organize and coordinate brief to the incoming DAS, LTG Campbell, and VCSA, GEN Cody, on Detainee Operations

OPMG will provide staff lead in organizing, preparing, and briefing the DAS—and a follow-on to the VCSA—with support from OCPA, OCLL, G2, G3, TJAG, CID, DAIG, STRATCOM; & EOH Staff Group,

To facilitate coordination and ease scheduling constraints, the brief will be broken down into discrete segments by topic and scheduled as a sequential briefing from 1330-1800, 3 Sep 04. 3. Lead and support staffs will coordinate to develop and organize their respective briefs and submit final briefs with name(s) of designated briefers to OPMG NLT 1200, 31 Aug 04. The consolidated briefing will be distributed at 1000, 1 Sep 04 to all staff principals and the VDAS/DAS as a read-ahead packet.
Overview includes OSD and DA Detainee Oversight Forums (Offices, Executive Agent, TF/Panels) and will provide an overarching agenda for the entire update.
