1. (U) Significant Activities - RFIs
The following actions are ongoing:
o Provided Joint Staff with proper organization of the 320 th MP BN (IR) and the 372nd MP Company (Combat Support). Also clarified positions within those units.
o Continue work on policy-doctrine-training cross walk in preparation for developing interim change to AR 190-8
o 'Reviewed AR 190-8 in relationship to Mr. De Bois assertion that G3 should be collecting ICRC Reports. AR 190-8 requires commanders to forward requests that "require an answer" to the G3 and the National Detainee Reporting Cente(NDRC). Typically the ICRC camp reports are informative in nature and do not require responses. The NDRC. does respond to routine. information clarification e-mails from the ICRC. ASD SO/LIC approves these responses prior to forwarding to the ICRC.
o Representatives of the OPMG and MG Romig briefed the DAS on ICRC report
procedures.
2. (U) Current Operations Seven Day Focus (Close Battle)
o Continue to review the MG Taguba 15-6 for policy considerations.
3. (U) Future Operations Long Range Focus (Deep Battle)
o Review I/R policy upon completion of the DAIG report; OPMG is currently awaiting release and distribution of the DAIG report.
