Helld I .
During the recent showing of photos related to detainees in Iraq, I repeatedly am reminded of the training I did at the Military Intelligence Training Center at Ft. Huachuca, AZ.. The Center was mentioned during Congressional hearings last week. You may recall that there were Congressional staffers there during some of my training. I am only reminding you of this in case it comes up -in case a staffer remembers that the FBI had someone providing
training there and gets interested in the subject matter. FYI, and I think I probably still have the PowerPoint presentation I used, all of my comments were centered on rapport building based interview strategies. I understand now why we were not invited back. From the news reports, the military made changes to their
methods around April 2003. I was there training in January 2003 and expected to be invited back six months
later. i. e. July 2003. No invitation ever materialized.
