Amrit Singh, Esq.
Staff Attorney

New York, NY 10004

Dear Mr. Singh:

I refer to your letters dated October 7, 2003 and May 25,
2004 to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, requesting the
release of certain material under the Freedom of Information
Act (Title 5 USC Section 552). Four of the relevant
documents retrieved in response to your request were
referred to the Department of State for direct reply to you.

We have determined that two of the four are duplicates of
documents previously reviewed for possible release to you in
response to your similar request to the Department of State

(Case Number 200303827, Segment IPS001). The results of that
review were incorporated in our letter dated September 21,
2004. Of the two documents previously reviewed, one
originated in another agency and was referred to that agency

for review and direct reply to you; the other was denied in
full under subsection (b)(5) of the Freedom of Information
Act.

The remaining two documents referred to us by the Federal
Bureau of Investigation also originated in another agency,
and have been referred to that agency for review and direct
reply to you.

Sincerely,

Margaret P. Grafeld
