SWEDEN HAS AGREED TO SEND FORENSIC EXPERTS TO IRAQ TO HELP
WITH IDENTIFICATION OF MASS GRAVES. THE SECRETARY
EXPRESSED U.S. APPRECIATION FOR THE FORENSIC TEAM AS WELL
AS FOR SWEDISH FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR IRAQ.

ENHANCE NON-PROLIFERATION ISSUES BY ADVOCATING IMPROVED
VERIFICATION AND EXPORT CONTROLS. THE SECRETARY LAUDED
HER EFFORTS, AND BRIEFED HER ON HIS OWN WORK TO REDUCE THE
DANGERS OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS. THE SECRETARY ADVISED HER
THAT NON-PROLIFERATION MIGHT BE A KEY TOPIC AT THE
UPCOMING UNGA.
