DOD Letter: Letter Approving the Strategic Counter Intelligence Directorate (SCID) to Interview Three (3) Abu Ghraib Detainees, December 25, 2005

This DOD Letter issued by Task Force 134 Multi-National Force, Baghdad, Iraq, signed by General Jack Gardner, grants permission for Strategic Counter Intelligence Directorate (SCID) personnel to conduct interviews on three (3) detainees at Abu Ghraib prison between December 28, 2005 - January 4, 2006. The detainees to be interviewed are: 1) Abu-Al-Hassan a.k.a. Annar Habib; 2) Ahmed Muhy Diab; and 3) Dea Shakir Al-Janabe. The purpose of the interviews is to determine if any of the detainee's have connections or involvement with Abu Younis, a suspected Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQIZ) cell leader.
