An autopsy by MAJ (Dr.)11¦11.101MMI)eputy Medical Examiner, Office of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner (OAFME), determined the preliminary cause of death to be acute peritonitis secondary to a perforating gastric ulcer, and the preliminary manner of death as natural. On 20 Aug 04, this office received a Request for Correction (0454-04-CED001), from Headquarters, United States Army Criminal Investigation Command (HQUSACIDC) to reflect the Leads Remaining in the Status paragraph and add the Final Autopsy Report. ABDULLAH WAS IN NEED OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. MEDICS FROM THE PRISON MEDICAL FACILITY RESPONDED TO THE COMPOUND AND FOUND THE VICTIM HAD COLLAPSED.
