Alice Fisher knew that at some point the Central Intelligence Agency requested advice from
Department of Justice regarding interrogation techniques but she is not sure when and she does not
recall ever hearing about specific techniques that the Central Intelligence Agency was using, such
as those referred to in the AG Letter document as *alternative debriefing model." The Criminal
Division later got some referrals from the Central intelligence Agency regarding potential abuse
cases, and the Criminal Division reviewed the advice memos that Office of Legal Counsel had
provided the Central Intelligence Agency, but Alice. Fisher does not recall specific techniques. She
is not familiar with 'U.S. Army Survive, Escape, Resistance and Evasion" techniques.
