MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: Phone Conversation with Reporter
1.
On 2 December 2003, at 1620 hours, I contacted_by phone. Mr._is a Reuters reporter, based out of London. who accompanied Alpha Company, 588 th Engineer Battalion on the raid 22 November 2003.

I confirmed the film footage I r•_• om CPT which runs about 5 minutes in duration, was the footage that Mr. _recorded during the raid on 22 November 2003.

I also confirmed the film footage I had in my possession was an edited version not the raw footage. Mr._stated the raw footage, which runs about 60 minutes in duration, was sent to Reuters for archiving. It could be provided to the investigating officer, but it would take a couple of weeks.

I informed Mr._not to proceed with obtaining and sending the tape unless he was contacted again by the US Army.
