This synopsis of events concerns the taking of prisoners from a house in Baqubah, Iraq, November 22, 2003 from where gunfire upon U.S./Coalition forces emanated. The report of events is by the investigating officer and details the actions of Alpha Company, 588th Engineer Battalion as they took the house, investigated the source of the gunfire and took prisoners in to custody. Part of the report addresses apparent video footage of the events and describes the footage in terms of the circumstances surrounding the action.

At the completion of the raid all three men were transported by Alpha Company to the Badger Detention Facility (652 nd Engineer Company) at FOB Gabe at 220430CNOV 03.

Video footage shows_after being taken to Badger Detention Center with noticeable

swelling of right eye, a swollen nose, and blood dripping from his nose. (At this time, did not have a cut to his lower left lip)
were not accepted by Badger Detention Facility due to the injuries identified by the guards at 220451 CNOV03. ¦was accepted and placed in a cell.

document this injury or recall seeing this injury.
